About Us
Who We Are and What We Do
Helping In His Name Ministries, Inc. (The Food Pantry) is a Christian-based, privately-owned and self-managed 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that provides temporary grocery assistance to verified Henry County, Georgia residents free of charge.
The Food Pantry has been in continuous operation for over 35 years and, with the exception of posted holidays, distributes food Monday through Friday by appointment only and at specific times each day.
With very few exceptions, all food and grocery goods received and distributed, along with the funds and personnel used for daily operation are provided through the kind donations and volunteerism of private individuals, families, businesses, churches and foundations. As such, we are called to be good stewards of God’s gifts received through our generous community and have procedures, guidelines and rules in place.
