Helping In His Name Ministries Inc (aka, The Food Pantry) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit inter-denominational Christian organization, and one of the largest faith-based food assistance ministries in Henry County, Georgia.

In 1990, a group of Henry County churches joined forces to establish a Food Pantry that could help meet the growing food needs of many families and individuals within this county.

Located in Henry County for over 30 years, we have become known as the "go to place" for help with food needs and hope in difficult times.

Our mission to provide food to families and individuals in need is carried out by a small number of staff and a large group of volunteers, and with using donated food and money.

The food and care our guests receive here are done as an inspirational model of the love and compassion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Today, we are still growing and meeting the ever constant food needs as individuals/families, churches/ministries, businesses/organizations, and schools/libraries continue to partner with us in this endeavor.

Our heart's desire is for families and individuals to have food security.

In 2024, we aim to provide food to over 30,000 individuals, which will amount to about 2 million pounds of food distributed to people in need throughout Henry County, Georgia.
